At the southeast edge of the Qinghai – Xizang Plateau, the warm and moist airflow from the Indian Ocean encounters the chilly wind from the Qinghai – Xizang Plateau, resulting in a unique ecosystem – the Yarlung Zangbo – Nyang Wetland.
Each inch of land here is imbued with precious life.
Due to the extremely fragile ecosystem of high – altitude wetlands, it’s hardly possible to restore them once destroyed.
However, a team of conservation rangers sets off at dawn, patrolling throughout the year to monitor the changes of seasons.
